New Uploads for October, 2020 (Partial List)

September’s slide and negative scanning kept me going into early October with still more old train pictures. These old Southern Pacific photos turned out to be a real hit with the railfans on Instagram. If I would have had more forethought I would have taken even more photos of the railroads that would soon be absorbed into the Union Pacific. But it wasn’t all trains – I also had a couple from when fire engines from all over the state came to town to fight the 1992 Highway 41 Fire and some old pictures from San Francisco.

Also new is a photo of the NEOWISE comet as seen from my front yard.

I have some more new photos that I uploaded in October, but they’re all of a common theme and I’ll be listing those in a future post.
