Hello, and welcome to my website. I've been carrying a camera just about everywhere ever since I took a four week trip in 1989 from my former home in Los Osos, California to Durham, North Carolina with an old 35mm rangefinder camera. Twenty years later, I'm still at it. These are some of my favorite photos that I've made over the past few years.
Most of the pictures here were made with a Nikon D40 or a Canon S2IS. The two lenses I never leave home without are the super-versatile Nikkor 18-200 f3.5 and the totally-specialized Nikkor 10.5mm f2.8 fisheye.
A few of the pictures here come from old slides and prints, and one or two were made on a 2.1MP Nikon E775 point & shoot.
There are a few pictures that are heavily edited. Those appear in their own area of my website so you know you're looking at digital art that was made in the computer.
The photos are laid out in three sections:
- Under the tree you will find the main photo exhibit.
- Behind the barbed wire is my photo editing work.
- Clicking on the soccer field will take you to the my "snapshot area", photos from kid's sports, special events, National Parks, etc.
Download my photos as wallpaper on my Downloads page.
